As a family photographer in Glasgow, I’m always on the lookout for new and beautiful places for photo sessions. There’s something magical about finding a spot that’s just perfect—peaceful, natural, and full of charm. Today, I want to share a little story with you. It’s about how I discovered a stunning location for a children’s photoshoot in Glasgow, and how it reminded me why I absolutely love what I do.

Let me take you back to March. It was still early spring, and although the days were getting longer, the trees were bare, and the flowers hadn’t quite woken up yet. One weekend, I decided to take my family for a walk. We needed some fresh air, and I had a feeling we’d find somewhere special.

We stumbled across a little-known path just outside the city. It was quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by tall trees. Even though there wasn’t much greenery at the time, I felt something. The ground was covered in wild garlic flowers, their soft white blooms dancing in the breeze. It was like something out of a fairytale.

That’s when I saw them.

A woman was sitting on a picnic blanket with her three young children. They looked so peaceful, enjoying the warm afternoon. The kids were playing, laughing, and hugging their mum. It was such a pure and beautiful moment.
